TREATMENT
It may be sleep apnea.
Sleep apnea occurs when your airway repeatedly narrows or collapses during sleep, disrupting normal breathing throughout the night.
Over time, this can contribute to high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and persistent fatigue that affects your energy, focus, and overall quality of life.
Many patients are prescribed CPAP therapy. While effective, it can be difficult to use consistently over time.
A more comfortable, clinically supported alternative
Custom oral appliance therapy is recognized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine as a first-line treatment for snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea, as well as for patients who are unable to tolerate CPAP.
We focus specifically on this approach.
Treatment is designed to improve airflow during sleep by gently repositioning the lower jaw. Because jaw position plays a role in airway stability, TMJ (jaw pain, tension, or grinding) is considered as part of your treatment design—supporting both effective breathing and long-term comfort.
How Treatment
Works
Oral Appliance Therapy:
A custom-fitted device that gently positions the lower jaw forward to help keep the airway open during sleep. Small, quiet, and travel-friendly.
Precision Fit:
Each appliance is digitally designed from detailed scans of your teeth, allowing for an exact fit and a jaw position tailored to support both comfort and airway function.
Insurance & Coverage:
Oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea is typically covered through your medical insurance, not dental insurance. We file all insurance claims on your behalf, including Medicare and VA Community Care Network coverage, and guide you through your benefits so you know exactly what to expect before treatment begins.
A refined, comfortable alternative to CPAP through advanced oral appliance therapy.
